Overview
TimeTools SR9210 NTP Server is a stratum 1 GPS/LF reference network time reference. It is an ideal solution for maintaining accurate time of Servers, Workstations, Network Infrastructure, CCTV Systems, Telephone Systems, Commercial and Industrial Networks. It is housed in a compact 1U-high rack-mountable enclosure. Status information is displayed on a large, bright, 40-character-by-2-line backlit, blue-on-white LCD display. The device can be easily and conveniently configured using HTTP, telnet or via a RS232 console port. Secure configuration can be achieved using HTTPS and SSH over a network.
GPS and LF Radio Reference Clock Options
The SR9210 can accept either a standard 5V GPS antenna or a MSF/DCF-77 LF radio antenna. If required, it can also accept both antennas at the same time to provide additional resilience. If a dual antenna configuration is implemented, GPS will be used as a primary time reference due to its higher degree of accuracy. Radio will be used as a back-up reference during loss of GPS signal.
Wide Range of Power Supply Options
The SR9210 can be provided with a wide range of power supply options. The standard unit is provided with a 100-250VDC 50-60Hz universal power supply. Additional options include 9-36VDC input, ideal for 12VDC supplies or battery powered operation and 85-250VDC input versions ideal for 125VDC operation.
Additional Options
The SR9210 forms part of a range of SR series devices. Dual LAN options allow a single time server to synchronize two completely independent networks. The SR series can be provided with a Temperature Controlled Crystal Oscillator (TCXO) option. This allows the device to maintain a much more accurate time for a longer period (hold-over) in the event of GPS or LF signal loss. High-throughput versions allow highly accurate synchronization of very large networks.
TimeTools can also provide a range of GPS/LF referenced time servers in compact desktop type enclosures - the SC series.
